One of my all time favorite locations for a family session is the beach. I mean really, does it get any better? The lake front not only creates the perfect environment to let the kids explore and play naturally, but the open skies allow for stunning sunsets and its overall just a relaxing and peaceful session experience. In my opinion, the time of year for beach sessions is before it officially opens for the season or just after it closes, there is usually way fewer distractions and photobombers and the weather is still great.
